How we work

Why us: eight things you can hold us to.

Eight specific commitments, each one checkable, and each one something you can hold us to if we get it wrong.

From enquiry to arrival

Five steps, and you can stop at any of them.

Nothing is chargeable until step four. We are not going to chase you, and we will not put you on a mailing list.

01

You write

Dates, rough number of people, and what you actually want out of the week. Two sentences is plenty to start with.

02

We reply within a day

A person in Thimphu, with questions and a first suggestion — including whether what you want fits the days you have.

03

A written itinerary

Day by day, with drives, walking hours, altitudes, named hotels and a full costing with the SDF on its own line. Revised as many times as you like.

04

Deposit and visa

A deposit confirms it. We apply for the visa, book the hotels and send you the clearance letter and a kit list.

05

We meet you at Paro

Your guide, by name, at the terminal. From there it is yours — including the days you decide to change it.

And afterwards

We ask what was wrong, not whether you enjoyed it. The second question gets a polite answer; the first one is how the itineraries on this site got the shape they have.

Eight commitments

Specific enough to be checked.

Being fair about it

When another operator suits you better.

We are not right for everyone, and it is worth saying so plainly. If any of the following describes you, another operator is the better choice.

Hold us to it

No reviews, no ratings, no counters.

We have not published traveller quotes, star ratings or traveller counts anywhere on this site. Genuine feedback will appear here when we have permission to use it, attributed properly. Until then, the fairest thing we can offer you is a way to test the eight commitments above before you pay anything.

Start planning

Hold us to all eight.

Write with your dates and see whether the reply lands within a day, whether it names the hotels, and whether it tells you something you did not want to hear.
